Anne of Green Gables:
is a novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
It is famous, especially on the island, because Montgomery grew
up on there. Tour the house that was part of the inspiration for
her book. It is a famous attraction.
Take a chance on a picnic lunch at the beach. Drive to North
Rustico where the sand is great, and the water is inviting. Lay
down a blanket, put on your sun lotion and relax. Bring a good
book to read or simple take a nap. 
Return to Anne of Green Gables:
If you are looking for a little more adventure go to Basin Head. Plan for the whole day, since you will not want to leave. Jump off the bridge into the water below. Make sure you don't loose your bottoms! Basin Head is known for it's lovely white sand known as singing sands.
